VILLA PIANOIA
Overview
Villa Pianoia is a historic hillside residence overlooking the medieval town of Montepulciano and the hills of the Val d'Orcia. A careful restoration has returned the villa to its former splendor, preserving its original charm with exposed wooden beams, terracotta floors, and antiques blended with modern design elements. The property offers panoramic views of the Tuscan countryside, vineyards, valley, and surrounding parkland.
The 450 sqm villa is distributed over two levels connected by a marble staircase and a beautiful wooden loft leading to the bedrooms. The ground floor features two elegant living rooms with fireplaces connected by an ancient noble courtyard, two reading/TV rooms, two dining rooms, two fully equipped kitchens, a double guest bathroom, one standard bedroom, and one superior bedroom. The upper floor includes one suite, two superior bedrooms, and two standard bedrooms, all with air conditioning, LED flat-screen TV, and en-suite bathrooms. Outside, guests enjoy an Italian garden, large green areas with outdoor dining and lounge spaces, a historic lemon house surrounded by roses, and a private mini pool with hydromassage.
